These are the most common and/or most unique rules being used for this event. Please see "Official Rulebook" for exhaustive list of playing rules. When in conflict, rules written here shall supercede those in the official rulebook.
As a player, you are responsible for knowing all official rules of the game. By participating in the league, you are agreeing that you are aware of all rules associated with the league and the sport, and agree to abide by them at all times.
Handicap will be calculated as 100% of 220. Average and handicap will be established after your first night of bowling and will be calculated nightly as you progress through the league.
Bowling Courtesy:
- If there is someone on the approach to your left or right, do not go on to the approach
- After you throw your first ball, make sure to step off the approach
If the ball goes into the gutter and then hops out and hits pins, that still counts as a 0. Correct the score & reset the pins to a full set of pins (if was on first ball)
If you have to reset the pins for any reason, make sure there isn't a person on the approach to your left or right. If there is someone, wait until they release the ball before resetting the pins
If someone is not able to make it and a sub is not able to be found, the absent score will be the bowlers average minus 10 pins.
These are guidelines and rules for the event that all coaches must acknowledge and follow. Please review all rules carefully.
